I suppose the most logical place to start this blog is to start by answering a question. Why write the blog in the first place?
Well the answer to the question above is simple. The answer is this; everyone should know how to secure, defend, and provide for their family without any outside aide. An individual should be able to secure a safe place to live, be able to defend that place, and provide the tools and resources for their family to survive and thrive. Our Constitution grants the right of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness to every man, woman, and child, but do you know how to exercise these rights? Well, I am here to educate and share everything I can to help my readers accomplish these simple goals.
Most folks would argue that they already have the items they need for a happy life. I can hear the responses, “I have a nice home in a safe neighborhood, an SUV to take me around town, and I can get everything else via the internet. What else could I need?” My response to that statement is, “Do you really have all of these things covered?” What happens when the power grid crashes? No more instant access to goods and services via the internet. No more gas flowing from the pumps to power that SUV. No more juice to heat and cool that nice house. What happens when water stops flowing from the taps? How are you going to flush the toilet? What happens when you need a simple drink of water? There are literally hundreds of questions that I could ask that the typical American that they could not address if there was a significant disruption of basic utilities for an extended period of time.
So here you sit in a dark house, in unsanitary conditions, without a way to resupply. This doesn’t sound very liberating or happy to me. Luckily we can all put ourselves in a situation to be better off, we just have to make a few changes and develop a few extra skill sets. So, with this in mind, make the choice to stand on your own two feet and survive!
If I still haven’t convinced you to make some changes think about this. What is the opposite action of stand up and survive? Figured it out yet? The opposite action of standing up and surviving is to lie down and die. The choice is yours.
